Perfection
We are all striving to be perfect but the conflict arises when we realize our ideas of perfection vary. This struggle is magnified in the realm of politics where dramatic efforts are made to convert society into one’s Utopian vision. Any casual observer quickly learns that no vested actor is or ever could be satisfied with the results of a republican government. Perhaps it is the universal dissatisfaction in politics that, in all actuality, constitutes society’s perfection.
